I was tested at your Seattle facility sometime in the late winter of 2013. Your tests said I would be better suited to be an engineer or a high school teacher, rather than a computer programmer.

The day after I got the results was the deadline for the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). I got it done in time, and began a whirlwind series of events to qualify for the UW Tacoma one-year teacher certification program. This included 40 hours of classroom observation, a video course on child development, a criminal background check, fingerprinting, and rounding up transcripts and letters of recommendation.

I got it all done, and enrolled in the program in June, 2013. After four grueling quarters of difficult courses, including five months of student teaching, on June 20, 2014, I was awarded my Washington residency teaching certificate. I am now teaching 8th grade math at a prep school in western Washington.

I am loving my new job, and through my coursework, my student teaching, and now my position at the school, I have really felt like I was “coming home.” I am finally where I ought to be. I am extremely grateful to your company, and your caring consultants, for pointing me to this fulfilling career path. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
