Schoolfinder.com has information on more than 1400 Canadian universities, colleges and career colleges. It includes admission requirements and costs as well as program and contact information.

ScholarshipsCanada.com is a comprehensive site where you can search through a database of scholarships, student awards, bursaries, and grants.

MySchool101.com provides a place where you can join an online “club” to read about what other students have to say about subjects such as academics, campus life, and career topics. Post questions and respond to others' on matters related to going off to college or university.

Career-College.com has information about the hundreds of career-oriented colleges in Canada. There is also information about scholarships, loans, and planning a budget.

The Association of Universities and Colleges of Canada website gives information on programs and courses in 92 institutions of higher learning across the country. There is also information on program costs and scholarships.

The Association of Canadian Community Colleges includes links to community colleges and programs across Canada, publications, and other useful resources.

On-Line Career Resources

Job Futures offers a simple job-interest quiz, profiles of occupational groups and jobs, educational options and paths. Job descriptions include information on wage ranges, employment outlook, and average unemployment.

Labor Market Information furnishes national, provincial, and local information including occupational profiles and job descriptions, employment prospects, and wage/salary ranges.

Job Bank is a searchable database of job listings across Canada. The site includes a resume building tool.

JobsEtc.ca is maintained by Public Works and Government Services Canada. Job lists, career tools, lists of career counselors, workers' rights, and training resources.

Youth.gc.ca details programs and services available for youth in Canada. Information is available on jobs, education, money management, social life, and other related topics.

The Canadian Information Centre for International Credentials provides information on application of foreign credentials, postsecondary education in Canada and abroad, trades and professional recognition, and many other useful links.
