As of June 1, 2010, our current fee is $675 in ten of our locations and $750 in New York. We will continue to request a $100 deposit to hold appointments and offer one free follow-up discussion held within a year of the testing.
We have held off any fee increase since January 1, 2003. For years now, we have been offering—and will continue to offer—the testing below our cost. In response to ever-rising expenses, however, it is now essential for us to adjust the fee for our testing program. We do so reluctantly, and we will remain committed to keeping the fee as low as possible.
Our aptitude testing program consists of two sessions, each about three and a half hours long, and the evaluation conference, which can take one to one and a half hours.
These appointments may be scheduled on consecutive days or spread out over several days or even weeks if you prefer, with no effect on the results. Morning sessions start at 8:30 or 9:00 am and afternoon sessions start at 1:00 or 1:30 pm, depending on the local office.
Other starting times may be arranged as well; please check with the testing center directly to arrange your appointment times. The evaluation conferences are scheduled throughout the day.
You should schedule your appointments in advance, especially for holidays and school vacation times. The explanation of the test results is given in the last appointment. You may bring someone to this discussion if you wish.
Our testing offices are generally open Monday through Friday. At some offices, Saturday testing is also available. Please check with the center where you plan to be tested. In addition, all offices are open during Christmas and New Year's weeks and on the following holidays: Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Presidents' Day, Columbus Day, and Veteran's Day.
The current fee is $675 ($750 in New York). A deposit of $100 is required. The balance is due upon your arrival for the first appointment. Payment may be in the form of cash, check, Visa, or MasterCard. We will refund your deposit only if we receive a cancellation or appointment change request at least two business days prior to the scheduled date.
